SUMMARY:9th American Heritage Festival (2026)
DESCRIPTION:UNIFORM: Late War Uniform \nThey are doing this event every other year – there is a small skirmish / battle in the afternoon on Saturday – they have multiple periods attending the festival – you will get to see some World War I and World War II reenactors – it is actually a two day event so if there are Fusiliers who want to do both days. \nPRESS RELEASE \nAmerica’s Living History Foundation is proud to announce the 9th annual American Heritage Festival on Graham”s Historic Farm slated for February 21-22\, 2026. The foundation has made great strides in finding documented proof of Marion’s use of the farm near key dates in 1780 and 1781. The foundation has also made physical discoveries matching the time period and tools used while detaining British prisoners on the farm from two distinct battles which changed the trajectory of the southern campaign. In 2026 we are adding the French and Indian Battle of Braddock’s Defeat to add to the time periods of the Revolutionary War and WWII. The F&I war was instrumental in training young officers like George Washington & Francis Marion to fight with guerilla war tactics that were used during the American Revolution. We are also inviting Indiantown Presbyterian Church because of it’s ties to offsite church member in the Lynches Lake area that fought in the revolution.Finally\, the Georgetown Museum recognized Graham’s Historic Farm as a instrumental site for Marion’s maneuvers and attack and run campaigns. Therefore\, the museum will be in attendance in 2026 to explain the connection between Graham’s Historic Farm and Georgetown. We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate our great country’s 250th anniversary of independence .

SUMMARY:249th Battle of Princeton (2026)
DESCRIPTION:Each January\, the Princeton Battlefield Society presents Experience the Battle of Princeton—a powerful\, immersive reenactment of the pivotal Battle of Princeton\, fought on January 3\, 1777.\n—–\nUNIFORM: Early War (with long gaiters)\n—-\nWhat started out as a small event years ago has steadily grown in attendance and public interest anticipating the 250th anniversary in January 2027. So far we’ve had clear weather\, but somewhat cold. Good\, flat and clear terrain with plenty of artillery and firing. Alex can host some brave Fusiliers who want to travel north at his family’s house in NJ. Additionally\, for those who decide to travel north on Saturday\, the plan is to stop in Philadelphia to visit the Museum of the American Revolution. \nPrinceton battle is on Sunday starting at 0800 and ends after the battle reenactment at 1130. There is a wreath laying ceremony at 1200 with members of the American and British military attending. Attendance for the 23rd is optional. We plan on meeting at the Patriot’s Landing tavern for lunch at 1200 before heading home.
