A small detachment of 23rd Fusiliers (Eric Spaar, Ben Beers, Eric Bothur, Richard Coyle, Kevin McClain and Monty Dixon) arrived on Friday night with Eric Bothur providing dinner for those of us who traveled south – we ate in the Historic Tavern as well as spent the night there.  The next day, we had multiple firing demonstrations, military drilling, and conversed with the public. The site staff was very supportive; but alas, the crowds were minimal. Hopefully next year word will get out that the 23rd Foot was there and we will have a larger spectator showing.
