The British outnumbered the Rebels on both days. Units attending included the 7th, 14th, 23rd, 43rd, 64th, The Guards, and multiple German units. We were brigaded with the 64th both days and the battles went well.

On 24 July, a splendid occupation of Hickory Ridge, Boone NC was carried out by a most able and enthusiastic detachment of the 23rd Foot (RWFiA).
