PRESS RELEASE

America’s Living History Foundation is proud to announce the 9th annual American Heritage Festival on Graham”s Historic Farm slated for February 21-22, 2026. The foundation has made great strides in finding documented proof of Marion’s use of the farm near key dates in 1780 and 1781. The foundation has also made physical discoveries matching the time period and tools used while detaining British prisoners on the farm from two distinct battles which changed the trajectory of the southern campaign. In 2026 we are adding the French and Indian Battle of Braddock’s Defeat to add to the time periods of the Revolutionary War and WWII. The F&I war was instrumental in training young officers like George Washington & Francis Marion to fight with guerilla war tactics that were used during the American Revolution. We are also inviting Indiantown Presbyterian Church because of it’s ties to offsite church member in the Lynches Lake area that fought in the revolution. Finally, the Georgetown Museum recognized Graham’s Historic Farm as a instrumental site for Marion’s maneuvers and attack and run campaigns. Therefore, the museum will be in attendance in 2026 to explain the connection between Graham’s Historic Farm and Georgetown. We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate our great country’s 250th anniversary of independence .
